What we collect
Your Google (or Apple) account identifier and email, the profile you create (name, birth date, gender, country, photos, bio, interests), content you post or send (posts, comments, messages, photos, voice messages), social activity (follows, likes, profile views, blocks, reports), device information (model, OS version, app version, an install identifier, a hashed device identifier, push token) and IP address. Voice calls and audio rooms are relayed in real time and are not recorded.
How we use it
To run Kyoumi, show your profile to other members, deliver messages and notifications, keep the community safe (automated and manual moderation, spam and fraud prevention), process subscriptions, and improve the app.
Service providers
DigitalOcean (hosting and file storage), Google Firebase (push notifications), OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to (automated moderation of photos and text), RevenueCat, Google Play and Apple (subscriptions). We do not sell your personal data and we do not show ads.
Who sees what
Your profile, posts and interests are visible to other members. Messages are visible to you and the person you message. Profile views and likes are shown to the person you viewed or liked.
Retention and deletion
You can delete your account in Settings or at /delete-account. Your profile is hidden immediately and your data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except limited records we must keep for safety and legal reasons (for example hashed identifiers of banned devices and reports involving illegal content).
